What a star! Claudia is the loveliest photographer to work with, always produces beautiful work, is an absolute professional and knows how to make you feel at ease in front of the camera. You can see how her years of working at the newspaper has made her work really shine. Can't wait to work with you again Claudia!
My inspiration came from my grandfather. He was a passionate wedding photographer. Every photographic memory I have of my family is because of him, and they are great ones. Photography always amazed me somehow, but after I moved to Brisbane I felt like I had to do something to make photography be part of something bigger in my life. I believe the city inspired me.
I love lifestyle photography. To tell stories about people’s life or to inspire people in different times. To capture a moment that it's going to say everything about that family, couple or person.
I love every spot in Brisbane and lots of favorite places. For something urban I like the Power House and a few spots in Teneriffe. The Story Bridge is always a perfect backdrop combined with the sunset. The Botanic Garden is also a good spot for something romantic and familiar.
I got started with photography on an exchange to Iowa State University in the USA. When I arrived at the university dormitories, I found myself locked outside in negative 20 degree weather! I thought I was going to get frostbite! Fortunately I didn't, and this extreme weather provided some fantastic photography opportunities. Towards the end of my exchange I was lucky enough to win a local university photography contest and feeling encouraged I bought my first DSLR. I haven't looked back since.
I enjoy photographing birthdays and weddings. I love experiencing how different cultures celebrate big milestones. These shoots are nearly always happy, joyful, and emotional. I enjoy working the light, being creative, and collaborating with my client to help capture their vision of the day.
There are so many places I love to photograph. I enjoy shooting at parliament house - the architecture is beautiful and makes for great images. New Farm park/the powerhouse, and south bank have a wide variety of great spots in a relatively small area. However places like the glass house mountains, binna burra, and springbrook national park are particularly beautiful and are some of my favourites.
