How did you get started with photography?

I got started in photography when working in a photography shop and then my passion just grew from there. I went on to start shooting clubs on the weekend (which I still do) and grew to festivals where i have shot some of the biggest festivals in australia and europe.

What type of shoots do you enjoy doing the most?

I love doing festival shoots and pets. Festivals because it allows me to travel the world and get connections for future work

What are some of your favorite places in Brisbane to take photographs?

Helsinki in Finland is one of my favourite places to shoot and pretty much Europe in general

How did you get started with photography?

I got started in photography in 1990. My favorite tennis player was Andre Agassi and he was the spokesman for the Canon Rebel. My first camera changed my life. I brought it with me everywhere I went. In high school I learned the fundamentals of photography and different darkroom techniques. I worked for the local paper as the junior photographer and branched into different styles from there. I have lived in Brisbane for 10 years and I love my tropical city. There is always something interesting to shoot.

What type of shoots do you enjoy doing the most?

Its hard for me to choose because there are so many different types of shooting that I love (wedding, events and food). As I have to choose I would say portrait photography would be my favorite. The great thing about being a portrait photographer is that you get to photograph a person as they are. Its a real treat to be able to photography peoples lives.

What are some of your favorite places in Brisbane to take photographs?

There are some great places to shoot around Brisbane. Shorncliffe is a great place to shoot (especially when the tide is out). Bulimba and Southbank are also highlights for me in the city.
