I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography as well as 8 years of experience as a professional photographer. I have shot for brands and organizations such as Lollapalooza, JUF, Yahoo News, 1871, We Work, Abbott Laboratories, Wine Channel TV, SocialMedia.Org, AUG the Exchange, Schoology, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. While earning my degree I participated in 6 different internships in the field of fashion photography, I studied photography abroad in Florence Italy for 6 weeks, and I traveled as a student volunteer for independent study to 2 photography conferences. During the summer's of my college career I worked as a souvenir photographer at Navy Pier, the John Hancock, the Willis Tower, and the Museum of Science and Industry for Photogenic Inc. I also began shooting product photography for the Randolph Street Market while attending Dominican University. After I earned my degree I began working for 360 REVO, an automotive photography company, where I did detail shots as well as panoramic shots for various high end car dealerships throughout the city. After completing my work there I began working for several smaller photography companies where I did everything from event work to product work. Now I am more selective as I have honed my skills and I currently focused on event photography for corporate and private clients as well as perfecting my product photography as well. I am still focusing on perfecting my craft and pursuing my goals by continuing my photography education by traveling to both conferences and high end workshops where I have been taught over the top lighting and retouching techniques as well as advanced marketing and art direction. I take great pride in my work and have incredible attention to detail. I will do my best to employ these traits while working as your photographer!

How did you get started with photography

I bought my first camera on what was then the highest recorded air pollution day in the history of Beijing. It clicked to me that some things that are better seen than told.

What do you love about your job?

I love taking great pictures and making my clients happy.

What are some of your favorite places in Chicago to take photographs?

In Chicago I'd have to say Fulton Market. In some ways it's super contemporary and slick and in others it feels industrial and rough, like a stanza out of Carl Sandburg's 100 year old poem, "Chicago." In what other place can you have the Google Office next to a sausage factory, next to some dude selling jerk chicken out of the trunk of his sedan to the workers at the post office across the street?
