I used to bring with me a point and shoot film camera during my high school days shooting any subject I would love to frame, as well as getting possible landscape subjects that I would like to paint. I got my first SLR when I got my first job after college, and that was the Pentax K1000, and that's when my passion for photography developed even more, taking landscapes, events, and architecture. I upgraded to Nikon FM2 which I keep up to now even if I shoot fully in digital.
I love to tell stories through photographs and I also love to document people and events. Making other people happy through your photographs makes you the photographer even happier, and I will feel special to be a part of their joy.
I love to take landscape and nature photos at Eno River State Park, Lake Crabtree, Falls Lake and Jordan Lake in the Triangle area of North Carolina. During spring and summer, one of the best places to photograph and do a photoshoot is at the Sarah Gardens at Duke University, where various colorful flowers are in full bloom. For architecture photos, the old historic tobacco buildings of Central Durham and the gothic inspired Duke University Chapel are some of the best subjects in our place.See portfolio & book
