I got started with photography when my dad bought a tiny silver digital handheld camera in 2005. I couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would invite my friends over to shoot on my balcony, we would do editorial style shoots on this tiny digital camera, and it really made them happy! When I was 14, my dad bought a Canon Rebel XS, and told me I could borrow it but had to be super, super careful. It was then that learned the importance of taking care of your equipment. I shot as much as I could, and took classes at a local community collage and just fell in love.
I love being able to share with people and create visual memories. I think it's one of the most magical ways to create and can involve so many other people. I love getting to go to new places everyday and bring back something that can strengthen the memory of that day. I also love how excited people get when they see beautiful photos of themselves, or of their work. I think that it can change the way someone views something for the better and that makes me happy.
I love to shoot in Malibu, I find the sun sets perfectly casting a nice golden glow. I always want people to be in beautiful light and an open space, because I really think it makes them feel at ease and their spirit comes out. I think when their soul comes through and they're laughing all the photos turn out beautiful. I also like shooting in a clients work space or where they feel most at home, because I think that's where there is the most energy.SEE PORTFOLIO & BOOK
