While in high school I always was into studio art and photography. When i went to college i studied engineering but never lost my passion for arts. I started teaching myself photography and eventually started picking up jobs doing so. After 3 years in college i decided photography was the right choice for me so i moved to nyc and became a full time photographer.
I enjoy music events mostly because it challenges me as a photographer. Every show is different with its own lighting challenges which i have to navigate.
In NYC I love shooting just about anywhere. From a rooftop with the skyline in the background to a dimly lit subway there is always something to exploreSee Portfolio & Book
I got started with photography while serving in the US Navy in Afghanistan. I purchased a Canon T3i and learned all I could before leaving on deployment in 2009.
I enjoy doing portraits the most. I love to get to know my subject so we can share a laugh and have them comfortable with me shooting. I've recently started shooting medium format film cameras.
At the moment I'd say NYC because I currently live here, but Barcelona, Spain is a very close runner up.See Portfolio & Book
