Arnold A
New York City
Canon EOS 5D Mark III; Canon EOS 6D
New York corporate photographer Arnold Adler has been capturing images with a sense of honesty and creativity for more than thirty years. He has a successful photography business with a rich variety of corporate, non-profit, editorial and private clients. That success is built on a dynamic, natural and spontaneous approach to photography. Arnie’s approach reflects his belief that the most captivating images in life are captured only when a subject is free, relaxed, and living in the moment…whether that moment is posed or spontaneous. In 1984, Arnie Adler was named the first staff photographer for the New York office of Crain Communications. He was part of the team that took Advertising Age from its identity as a staid media publication into a vibrant business magazine. His coverage of meetings, events, locations and industry parties, along with striking images of corporate movers and shakers are still seen in Craig’s New York Business regularly, as well as in other local and national media. Arnie Adler left Crain's in 1988, eager to shoot for a more diverse roster of clients. Today, his subjects include jittery wedding couples assured Fortune 500 executives, and famous/infamous faces, such as Hillary Clinton, Bernie Madoff, Bette Midler, Donald Trump, and Jerry Garcia. Arnie Adler’s passion for photography began when he was a teenager. While still in middle school he won first place in the Queens Borough Public Library photo contest. He has rarely been seen without a camera since. 'I photograph each project with the enthusiasm of it being my first. As a result, I have had thousands of satisfying assignments and satisfied clients for more than three decades.'

Anthony H
New York City
Canon 1D-X Mark II
Anthony has always been in love with the arts, in any form. He also has always had a passion for fashion and technology. He found himself in college for Digital Arts and Design but immediately wanted a DSLR to support his work as a graphic designer. He figured it would be great for creating textures and capturing stock photography. As Anthony played more and more, he started to find that he liked the physical interaction with photography that graphic design was not giving him. He started a relationship with Wilhelmina Models Miami and was shooting every weekend for them and quickly realized he had found his passion. His first career job out of college was as a Creative Trainer at Apple teaching pro photography software and photo classes while he freelanced on the side. Eventually he moved to New York City where he worked as an E-Commerce Photographer with Barneys New York before later becoming the Lead Photographer. He then moved on to Thrillist Media Group where he executed concept to creation photography for multi-million dollar campaigns. Anthony has done it all but ultimately wanted to come back to Miami and focus on his own business.

Calvin X
New York City
Canon EOS 6D; Canon EOS 70D
My name is Calvin and I've been shooting as a photographer since 2008. I started out working in various nightclubs, bars and lounges in New York City. It is at these venues and these conditions where I developed the technical skills and perspective on how to capture the moment at its finest. It was challenging and thrilling to operate in an environment that can be described as somewhat chaotic. As for my former manager said at the time, 'if you and your camera can survive getting hit by a Grey Goose bottle, you can survive anything'.

How did you get started with photography?

In college she jumped around a lot, Business Management, Accounting, Nursing. Finally after two years of trial and error, she decided to try Photography. She didn't know how to tell her conservative parents, that such an educated family of military people and doctors could somehow come up with a photographer. Her parents only found out about her career choice after she graduated. After college she started to assist and became a photo studio manager. Her love for digital art expressed itself not only in photography, but in retouching as well. After finishing her second degree in Corporate Communications, she decided to move to New York City. She threw all her equipment in the car and drove across the country from Houston to New York! For the past three years she has been working in New York City and exploring where her love for photography and digital art will take her.

What type of shoots do you enjoy doing the most?

I enjoy photographing people the most. Portraits and love stories are my favorites, I like the intimacy of those shoots.

What are some of your favorite places in New York City to take photographs?

I like the streets of the city, I guess you could say that Lower Manhattan is my favorite to shoot, but there are so many cool places in the city that it's just hard to say that one is absolute favorite.
