While in high school I always was into studio art and photography. When i went to college i studied engineering but never lost my passion for arts. I started teaching myself photography and eventually started picking up jobs doing so. After 3 years in college i decided photography was the right choice for me so i moved to nyc and became a full time photographer.
I enjoy music events mostly because it challenges me as a photographer. Every show is different with its own lighting challenges which i have to navigate.
In NYC I love shooting just about anywhere. From a rooftop with the skyline in the background to a dimly lit subway there is always something to exploreSee Portfolio & Book
In college she jumped around a lot, Business Management, Accounting, Nursing. Finally after two years of trial and error, she decided to try Photography. She didn't know how to tell her conservative parents, that such an educated family of military people and doctors could somehow come up with a photographer. Her parents only found out about her career choice after she graduated. After college she started to assist and became a photo studio manager. Her love for digital art expressed itself not only in photography, but in retouching as well. After finishing her second degree in Corporate Communications, she decided to move to New York City. She threw all her equipment in the car and drove across the country from Houston to New York! For the past three years she has been working in New York City and exploring where her love for photography and digital art will take her.
I enjoy photographing people the most. Portraits and love stories are my favorites, I like the intimacy of those shoots.
I like the streets of the city, I guess you could say that Lower Manhattan is my favorite to shoot, but there are so many cool places in the city that it's just hard to say that one is absolute favorite.See Portfolio & Book
