Rob Cuni is a professional commercial photographer with over twenty years of experience in photojournalism. What started out as a possible lucrative business opportunity and a chance to help his sister, whom had just graduated from CW Post with a degree in photography, Cuni opened St. James One Hour Photo back in 1987 in his native Long Island. It is there that he began to fully explore the many avenues in the world of photography. Coincidentally, during that time a good friend was also branching out into his area of expertise, professional baseball. Cuni began snapping pictures of the future Toronto Blue Jay and began covering baseball games among other sporting events for a local newspaper. In 1997, Cuni sold his store to pursue his passion full time. His commercial endeavors include photography for brochures and websites for various hotels, catering halls and real estate companies. He has photographed hundreds of hotels, campgrounds and complexes, including over 300 Best Western hotels throughout the US and Canada. Over the past several years he has photographed many Major League and Minor League baseball games all over the US. His works have been published in various publications including Baseball America, The Toronto Star, USA Today and Newsday among others. His work is becoming in high demand as in 2004 he was selected to photograph Hideki Matsui for the Taylor Publishing's hardcover book, Godzilla Takes the Bronx by Jerry Beach. In 2012 he provided the photography for Frank Catalanotto's hardcover book Heart & Hustle by Bantry Bay Publishing. Recently he provided the cover images of Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez for Bryan Hoch’s book, The Baby Bombers published by Diversion Books. In the past several years he has started to photograph local Long Island landmarks and landscapes, in 2019 his work will be on display throughout Long Island at several libraries and art galleries each month. While his work leads him to travel often, Cuni still calls Long Island his home. He resides in St. James, New York where he has many ties to the community. Cuni prefers to use Nikon cameras and lenses, Tamron lensesand Apple computer products.

Hiya Folks! My name is Debbie, but you can call me Ninja (you’ll understand more once we get on the phone. Haha!). I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer who happens to also be a romantic at heart. I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years and specializing in weddings for 5 of those years. This epic journey of photographing other humans began after a tragic breakup and my best friend (at the time) gifted me my first camera. With that, I’ve been able to use photography as a source of therapy until I realize its true power. In addition to being a photographer, I’m also a content creator and avid traveler over on my personal blog, The Loc’d Bella. When I’m not working on a gorgeous wedding or writing a new blog post, I’m stuffing my face with food while reading an interesting book. My favorite things are a good book, wine, a lasting lipstick, and an occasional long stroll down the sale section in Target (pronounced as tar-jay in your best french accent). I’m a lover of catching flights, lobster rolls, and peel and eat shrimp. My work has been featured on NBC News, Vanity Fair, Teen Vogue, The Cut, Refinery29, BuzzFeed, Huffington Post, DapperQ, to name a few.

Not only did I attend The New York Film School, but I have acquired an enormous amount of experience working as a videographer AND photography while working for successful companies like SmartShoot, Yelp, Expedia, and TaskRabbit. I find my background has made me into a very qualified and professional photographer.

Fell in love with photography when I was just a little kid; to me it was - and still is -magic. Started getting more serious about the craft in 1989 at Hofstra University and was blessed with some very knowledgeable professors. Got the photojournalism bug, had romantic dreams of flying off to distant lands, photographing conflict, famine and generally anything involving personal risk. Thank goodness THAT never happened. Landed a job with Newsday right out of college in 1994. Honed my skills working for five years with an incredibly talented staff of veteran photographers. Left in 1999 for graduate school at the prestigious Ohio University School of Visual Communications. Returned to New York and was hired as a photo editor for The Associated Press in 2001. Earned my Master of Arts in Visual Communications in 2003. Hired for a dream job in 2005 as corporate photographer for the NASDAQ Stock Market, spending the next four years meeting and photographing executives of the most influential corporations in America, as well as numerous celebrities. Running my own photography business since 2009.
