My family loves to travel a lot in the summer. Therefore, I have been privileged to have the opportunity to have experienced different cultures and see new sights. I like to document these memories, therefore photography became something that I have grown accustomed to.
I enjoy doing product photos the most because it allows me to tell the story behind each picture. The planning in these types of shoots is something that I enjoy as it is a fun creative process. There are many aspects that I need to take into account in order to tell the story of one brand. It's a process that involves meticulous work however is the most rewarding at completion.
Portland has many unique locations to shoot at. My list of favorite spots always changes depending on the season. For example, I like to shoot at a flower field in the spring. With flowers blooming to life during this season, the background comes to life with vivid colors. In the summer, I like to shoot at Oaks Park, the local amusement park, because it captures the essence of what the season really is about, having fun.See Portfolio & Book
It started in Middle School with my first gig as the yearbook photographer. Then throughout my 27-yr career as a Graphics Creative, I've incorporated photography into my jobs. Now, and for the past 7 years, I've dedicated myself to it.
I really enjoy shooting events and portraiture. Events because I get to be that fly on the wall where I'm tasked with capturing real life and all its happenings. Portraiture because I get to focus on an individual and capture them in the here and now. All very exciting to me.
I love anything that will give me an urban edge. Going down to the waterfront with the City Skyline in the background is amazing. Street photography in the Industrial District at night is also a favorite of mine. Walking around downtown with people doing their thing as a background is also fun.See Portfolio & Book
