I'm a 30-year-old photographer doing this for the past 7 years of my life probably because I love to make people happy! I love seeing them happy, so what I'm trying to do is to get this smiles and emotions in a timeless picture. With my photography, I want to be a part of the celebration of our lives. I'm drawn to the realness and honesty of a wedding ceremony, the energy, and joy from a reception, the moments I get to spend alone with a couple capturing their portraits to share with them just how amazing they truly are together. If somebody asks me what would be the most interesting job I say - Photographer! My camera has allowed me to go to the most beautiful places and meet most beautiful people. I love my job!

How did you get started with photography?

I was first introduced to photography through my father who always has a keen interest in snapping photos. Being the curious person that I am, I would watch him take pictures at a young age, making mental notes about his technique and always asking questions. My dad taught me the basics of using a camera, always emphasizing light being the most important factor to a beautiful photo. As my knowledge and passion grew for photography, I started to hone in on my style and believe the most important aspects of photography equating to my success were self-taught.

What type of shoots do you enjoy doing the most?

I enjoy portrait photography. I’m a people person and love meeting and connecting with new people. Every shoot presents its challenges because everyone reacts differently in front of a camera. I aim to explore ways to connect with each person/group I shoot to tell their story. Finding new ways to connect with each to figure their portrayal is a challenge I embrace.

What are some of your favorite places in San Francisco to take photographs?

My favorite place to shoot in San Francisco Bay Area is Mount Tamalpais State Park. The rolling hills along the Pacific coast are one of the most beautiful settings I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Whether it’s foggy or sunny, the hills and ocean routinely make for a beautiful composition. Dusk is my favorite time of the day when the sun is starting to set the environment always produces a perfectly warm and soft light which correlates with the vibe of my photography
