I got my first camera as a teenager and I only used it for capturing travel memories and family events. Not really thinking of using photography professionally, I went and got my degree in Web and Media Design. When I realized that every time I took photos I loved it. I started working on my skills, learning about the cameras, angles, and different types of photos. Then, people started noticing my photos and commenting on them so now I would like to work on more projects and adventure this new journey I am on.
Currently, I have been shooting a lot of Real Estate Photography and I love it. I also love Portraits, I am always finding ways, learning new skills to be better. Family Portraits, as challenging they can be they are so much fun. Different ways to capture a photo for the family to enjoy. Also, most importantly enjoying the process.
Parks are perfect for a photo shoot. Depends on what and who I am working with but some specific places are Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Mercer Island Parks and by the beach.See Portfolio & Book
I discovered my passion for photography when I took a beginning photography class in college as an elective. Before that semester was over, I had changed my major to photography and haven't looked back.
I enjoy photographing portraits the most, or the portrait portion of weddings. I like the one-on-one time (two for couples) where I focus on making my client feel comfortable and special in front of the camera. I enjoy the creativity I get from having the time to collaborate with my subjects on their vision of the photos that they want.
In Seattle, one of my favorite places to take photographs is Volunteer Park for it's landscaping and interesting buildings and view. I also like Kerry Park for it's view of the Seattle skyline, although it can get crowded sometimes. In Tacoma, I love Point Defiance Park Rose Garden. It's not hard to find a beautiful spot to take photographs at in Seattle, so I am very open to client suggestions as well.See Portfolio & Book
