Aditya is a freelance photographer for the past 6 years. He has trained under leading photographers and runs freelance photography classes for beginners. Having travelled & shot extensively around the globe (US, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali and India) and completed some cool street photography, landscape and corporate projects, he claims that photography has changed the way he looks at things. Photos for him are memories, and he sure does not like to make bad ones. He describes camping in the mountains in India at 12500 ft at -10 deg and being able to see the Milky Way with the naked eye as a life changing experience.
Photos for me are memories. The ones that survive time. I love to create those stories for people, for families and for myself. And I love when people choose me over others to help create that perfect picture. I simply love photographing people and capturing their true expressions. At the end of the day, a smile on my clients face seeing my work is priceless.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done family portraits, couples portraits and solo portraits. I have tried to change the usual trend of every such photo shoot being fully staged. When I did a recent couples portrait who were about to get married, I asked them not to wear a suit and any expensive dresses. I did not want the photos looking staged. Instead I guided them to act normally and enjoy their togetherness in a photo setting. And boy! I got the best pictures ever. Pictures that will make them smile every time. I try to do the same with every picture that I create. It changes the perspective.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
None. Never tried. My family, friends and clients have awarded me with a lot of love though.
A fun fact about this photographer
I played the Piano in school (still do sometimes) and have a published music album to my name. A few people have actually heard it.
