I am experienced in digital as well as analog photography. I served as a lab technician in the photography lab at Worcester State University for 2 years where I assisted both the digital and analog photography students. Photography is one of the most powerful mediums of art that we have today and I have always been interested in utilizing that power. Capturing photos of families and loved ones all seem unimportant now but years down the road they grow in meaning. I am most happy when I am capturing memories for families to be shared and smiled upon years later.
I love capturing memories that will be tangible for my subjects and their loved ones. Photographs can mean so much, they can remind us how far we have come and also where we came from. Think about your homes and even your desks at work, the photographs we place on our walls and table tops complete the home. I love delivering photographs to my clients and they see their true beauty, one thing this job has shown me is that we rarely stop to reflect and admire our true beauty, I love that my work helps people do that.
I have done personal portraits, maternity shoots, wedding photography, and family shoots. I made them special by taking my time to get to know each of my subjects and fully understanding what it is exactly that they want out of a shoot. I believe getting to know your subject is very important because it allows you to interact with them in a way that will put out the best results. A lot of people I photograph tell me they hate being photographed but after a session with me they often say how much they enjoyed it and that it is the first time they have enjoyed being photographed.
I received the honor for best photograph at the student exhibit at Arts Worcester in 2016.
I own and care for about 30 plants and now my banana leaf plant is so tall it is about 3 inches away from my ceiling. I don't know what I am going to do !
