Alicia Cargile has been a professional, full-time wedding and portrait photographer for 14 years. She also shoots corporate head shots, real estate interiors/exteriors, and events. Alicia's style reflects her clients' needs and personalities. Although she favors natural light to capture the mood, Alicia is experienced in using off camera flash and strobes.
Capturing the moment and a person's true personality is what I love about my job. I also get to meet so many different people, some of which have become very good friends.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
When I photograph weddings, I search for special interactions. Many times I capture the groom looking at his bride lovingly as she talks to him at the reception. Although I stay focused on the immediate family and friends, I will also try to capture more artistic images.
Movement and laughter are important when I photograph portraits, whether its families, engagements, and bridals. I provide a mix of traditional and lifestyle images to my clients.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have received a 5-star overall rating from my clients on The Knot. In addition, my photos have been used by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce on their website, publications, and social media.
A fun fact about this photographer
My personal photographs are very different from my professional portfolio. I love to photograph horses, architecture, and abstracts.
