There is nothing to not love about my job!
I feel immensely lucky to have been exposed to a lot of diverse work opportunities. I’ve shot and styled a cookbook and I’ve clicked perfect looking meals for a menu. I have done standard shots for food delivery services and on the same day, taken promotional product shots for newly launched brand of confectionery products.
Whatever be the nature of work, I make them special by giving it my 100%. I seldom go to a shoot unprepared. I carry my own paraphernalia including some visualizations of what each shot will look like in my head. It enables me to not only exceed client expectations and but also to improvise my own services.
In one particular incident, I wasn’t quite happy with the texture of the photography base so I sandpapered and hand painted some wooden logs and carried them over to a client site. That base did the magic. It could convey the right vintage feeling. The client was super happy and said I could communicate with my audience with skills beyond a photographer. It was such a rewarding feeling.
