I began studying film & television production as well as sound production & graphic design. After working on a few short films I found that I was interested in the field of cinematography and I began to practice making short clips just with friends etc. this I then decided to pursue as a career, beginning to do videography for weddings as well as filming a few conference style talks for various companies and local church events.
Through this I then went travelling and found myself focusing more and more on photography as opposed to cinematography/videography, although still enjoying them, I just became more passionate and invested in photography as a medium, transferring the skills I learnt from film & television to photography. Skills that included: Knowledge of Cameras, Lighting setups, Editing, Digital Art etc.
I then started transition my work further into photography, alternating between both it and videography. This led to me doing a lot of TFP and portfolio shoots with models doing portraits, shooting events such as weddings but also gigs for musician friends of mine etc.
I have enjoyed all this and continue to develop and further my skills in the industry. It's been vary tough so far, hard trying to get jobs just because of competition in the industry but I've found that as my portfolio grew, so has my following.
