Bianca Torres has roughly 10 years of experience working with kids and families to capture their best smiles and create memories that they'll cherish for years to come. She worked through college at retail photography places like JC Penny Portraits and The Picture People in San Jose,CA so that she could get as much people and shooting experience as possible. The more she grew into my own, the better experience her clients had. She was patient, cared about the best expressions (to get their "real" smiles), and her love for photography showed. Bianca moved back to Oxnard and worked for a local family owned photography studio for 2 years (SunWest Studio) assisting and learning more creative techniques and editing experience. After the studio's closing, she has ventured off into pursuing her own business and creating a strong and vibrant portfolio showcasing a true "California" style of golden sunsets and bright compositions called Vibrance,CA. Bianca can meet on location or set up and mobile studio in the client's home for maximum comfort. She's also a freelancer for other local photographers (Custom Sports Photography and Photos by Roland) shooting dance academies, sports portraits, graduation, and school day pictures.

More about Bianca T....

What do you love about your job?

I love photography from the bright and happy to the dark and moody. My favorite thing is when the true raw emotions are captured and you can feel it reverb out of the pixels. I love editing and tinkering with the colors for maximum drama. I love showing a side to people that they might have been afraid to show people but it always pays off.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done many types of shoots- maternity, newborn, birthdays, engagement, weddings, hs seniors, real-estate, head-shots, bridal & baby showers, family, and performers. I have such a love for portraits that I've tried a little bit of everything and will always be willing to learn and grow as much as possible. With my high or college senior shoots, i always make sure to have a makeup artist and pop up changing tent available while playing their favorite music on my phone, and all assistants to be as supportive and positive trying to talk as we all get to know the client and make sure the images captured are true to the spirit of him/her.

A fun fact about this photographer

I'm fairly shy until you get me behind the camera and then I come alive, making silly sounds, voices and trying to be a jokester. I don't mind making a fool of myself if it means getting the best expressions from my clients because that will definitely show through the picture.
