Camille Lenain is a passionate full-time photographer. After getting a bachelor in Photography in Brussels, Belgium, she moved to New Orleans and made her way as a freelance. Camille is also a musician, plays trumpet in two bands, which led her to cover a lot of music events, and collaborating with all types of performing artists. She recently started managing a photography and videography studio, and is exploring the wide opportunities of studio photography. The city of New Orleans inspires her to create pictures high in colors, sounds and people.
I love working with people! I love exchanging with a client to really understand the vibe they are looking for. It's not always easy to describe what you want, and my main goal is to make pictures that are specific to the person I'm working with. It's a beautiful feeling to create images out of a collaboration - we are always doing this together!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a lot of performance photography, and I can adapt to any type of lighting. It is fun and challenging to "find the light" and forces you to get creative with what's available at the moment. I have done a good amount of portraits, and always take the chance to get out of the studio and find something different - props, natural rays of light, plants...
