With over 10 years of solid photography experience, Mr. Chance Lamar Hill continues to serve the Great Pacific Northwest with portraits that have a vintage style to them. Mr. Hill has worked with such clients like the Mattel Corporation via Days Out With Thomas in both Snoqualmie, Washington State and Felton, California. Additionally, he has photographed the 2018 USA Weightlifting's National Junior Championships. He is highly passionate at the art of photography because he feels that photography is not only an art, but is a way how to preserve history. Hill feels that by shooting in manual mode, using vintage legacy Minolta lenses on his Sony a6000, and using his X-Rite Color Checker Card, photographs are captured to the highest degree and his clients will feel satisfied for many years to come. Currently, Mr. Hill is a Modern World History and Digital Photography Teacher in his respective Evergreen State.

More about Chance H....

What do you love about your job?

I love the look on all of my clients' faces when they see themselves captured from their photography sessions. The look of satisfaction truly makes me realize that I truly am great at not only capturing my clients' greatest memories, but preserving their greatest memories in the highest quality possible.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I capture portraits. Senior portraits, in particular, are very important photo sessions. With using wider apertures, my subjects "popped out" against the rather interesting background, and they felt they were the most important subject in the captures.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I have been featured twice in Photography Week magazine (which is a weekly digital photography magazine), and countless Explores and high viewership on my Flickr account (which features the majority of my work).

A fun fact about this photographer

I love reading and collecting maps.
