I love the sense of confidence a great photograph can instill in a person or business. So many people are hesitant to step in front of the camera, thinking they aren't photogenic or 'good looking' enough to be photographed. The fact is, we are all beautiful and have interesting stories that can be told through a great photograph. Helping people discover the best in themselves and their businesses motivates me to keep going!
In twenty years I've done just about every kind of shoot imaginable; portraits, products, weddings, annual reports, marketing, headshots, etc. But some of the most important work I do is creating portraits for families with a member on the autism spectrum. Unfortunately, many families with autism have had negative experiences with photographers who just don't know how to handle the challenges they are presented with. Having a son diagnosed on the spectrum I understand the challenges these families are going through. I work closely with each family to create the most conducive environment for our session so that everyone feels comfortable and I can create some beautiful images for them.
