Chris Gaede has been working professionally for well over 12 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA degree in fine art. He was classically trained in film photography and still enjoys shooting film for personal projects, but currently shoots with the latest in digital camera systems and lighting. He is well experience with portrait, fashion and product photography and has a great eye for lighting and composition.
I love that each project I get to work on is unique and presents a new challenge to make something visually beautiful. It's also always a pleasure meeting new people, clients and getting the chance work together to fulfill their photographic needs.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many a portrait of all different kinds of people, individual and family. I believe I make it special by respecting the subjects needs first and what they expect from the photoshoot, communication is key. I like to to create what they want and add my artistic vision to make it something more than they expected. I generally apply this to any photoshoot I get the opportunity to do.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have had many of my photographs of art photos and portraits purchased for private collections.
