No two shoots are the same, and every shoot has it's own challenges that must be overcome. Sometimes you show up to an event and the lighting is abysmal, and your camera can barely lock focus. Or the client wanted a shoot with sunny skies and it ended up being gray and overcast. I enjoy solving those types of problems and being able to pull through with strong work regardless of the scenario.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
The types of shoots that I have done revolve around commercial automotive, events, and real estate. Regarding events, I make them special by using unique angles and retouching to set a specific mood. If I'm shooting the CEO of a company interacting with employees, I may use a lower angle to make him appear taller and more authoritative. For real estate, I like to make the images comparable to something you would fine at a fine art gala. Really clean retouching, soft lighting, and strong images that tell a story for each property that's being listed.
