I love all things photographic, but the one thing that stands out for me is the interaction you have with your subjects and the connection you can build to create a photographic story. Working with people and breaking down their barriers to create a truly unique and inspired photo is a true love of mine. Photography allows you an intimate insight into a person's soul.
I have been a photographer for a long time and have been always eager to learn, so my experience in broad. I have shot products, real estate, food, engagements, weddings and portraiture including new borns, family and pets. From all my experience I found working with people and families the most rewarding. My last wedding I did was very special, as it was a dear friend of mine. We had almost finished for the day and I had hundreds of photos but i wanted one last one. I asked the couple to sit in the middle of their empty reception hall, with all the evidence of celebrations and happiness surrounding them and just asked them to talk and laugh together as naturally as they could. I stood back from afar and captured some of the most intimate, casual and loving photos of the night. Sometimes it pays to stand back and watch nature take its course.
