Elizabeth’s journey with photography started at a young age with nature and portrait photography of her friends, but grew throughout time to a more advanced set of portraiture, documentary event work, and colorful still life and product photography. Being mostly self-taught for the first portion of her career, she worked creating portraits for a dynamic range of clients in the greater San Antonio area. A few years later, Elizabeth trained under a wedding photographer and added a unique style of wedding and event photography to her repertoire.

From summer 2015 to fall of 2018, she attended the Art Institute of San Antonio were she was trained in almost all aspects of modern, commercial photography. Elizabeth studied portraiture in studio and environment, food photography, weddings, events, architecture, documentary, and so many more genres within the photographic medium.

Throughout all her years dedicated to photography, the most important thing she learned is how to use her art and the skills learned, to satisfy the client with images that they will cherish forever, because at the end of the day, the most important thing is that the art was created with passion and purpose.

More about Elizabeth L....

What do you love about your job?

When I was a child, my mother took of home video of me in which I told the old video camera that I never wanted to be stuck in an office job, but I wanted to be out and about working with people. With photography, I'm able to live out my dream job of working with people, capturing joy, and documenting genuine love.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I do three main types of shoots: portraits, weddings/events, and commercial photography. For now, I'll give you an idea of how I make my priority work, portraits and weddings special.

For my portraits, I strive to make the style and mood of the shoot match that of my clients, so for graduates, couples, and families, children, etc. I do my best to find a location and setting that is appropriate, and shows off personality. My goal is to make your shoot feel like it was customized for YOU!

For weddings, I make an effort to get to know the special couple in advance, so that I know what detail elements of the wedding, and what relational interactions are most important to capture. With a healthy does of pre-planning and meetings before the wedding, organization is a key part of getting all of the moments captured, and making a final set of images truly unique to the happy couple.
