Elvis Deane is an experienced photographer, with a flare for using bold colour in portraiture and finding the perfect moment out in the real world. He's photographed people, landscapes, and wildlife across three continents. Self-taught, he strives to stretch his own boundaries and capture life in new ways.
My hope is to tell stories through a single image.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I spent a day shooting portraits of my friend's aging dog. I approached lighting him just as I would any human model, and the results were beautiful. He was such a good subject, loved to pose for the camera and we came up with some incredibly striking images. He may be a pug, but he's one of the best models I've had the good fortune to work with.
