What do you love about your job?

I absolutely love being a photographer because it allows me to capture and tell unique stories. From weddings and elopements to special moments, I get to freeze precious memories in time. I cherish the opportunity to showcase diversity, spread love, and make a positive impact through my lens. Photography has become my creative outlet, and I wake up every day grateful for the joy it brings to my life.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Throughout my photography career, I have had the pleasure of capturing various types of shoots, including weddings, elopements, engagements, and lifestyle portraits. Each shoot is special and unique in its own way, and I strive to make every session a memorable experience for my clients.

For weddings, I go above and beyond to ensure that every moment is beautifully documented. I take the time to understand the couple's story, their vision, and their preferences. By building a connection with them, I create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, allowing their true emotions to shine through. I focus on capturing candid moments, genuine expressions, and the intricate details that make their day special. From the preparation and ceremony to the reception and heartfelt interactions, I aim to tell their love story with authenticity and artistry.

During engagement shoots, I make it a priority to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment for the couple. I encourage them to be themselves and express their love in their unique way. By incorporating their interests, hobbies, or favorite locations, I add a personal touch to the shoot, making it a true reflection of their relationship. Whether it's a romantic stroll on the beach, an adventurous hike, or a cozy picnic, I find creative ways to capture their connection and chemistry.

For lifestyle portraits, I work closely with individuals or families to understand their story and what they want to convey through the images. I collaborate with them on choosing meaningful locations, outfits, and props that reflect their personalities and interests. By creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, I capture authentic moments and expressions that truly represent who they are.

A fun fact about me is that I can speak three languages fluently: English, Spanish, and Khmer (the language of Cambodia). Being multilingual allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, making my photography experiences even more enriching.
