I love the emotions. I love how my images make the person feel. whether is an image of a couple on an afternoon walk, a rocking chair in a sun room or the portrait of a 3 year old toddler smiling, these images bring some sort of joy to the client and their joy gives me a high level of fulfillment. the emotional reward is what I love about what I do.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I mainly do family sessions and interior design. Always trying to make every shoot a special one. with the families, I make it about the children, then I try to recognize their natural expressions and that is what I go after. If I get the kids to be into it, the parents will gladly follow without any stress. I find this approach to be a great way to a fluid session where parents always seem to be grateful. With the interior design shoots I am always moving and adjusting everything until I am happy with the compositions, I spend time making sure all items are well staged without any rush. I am always trying to make every photo shoot a special one, and these are two examples of how I accomplish it.
