I'm a commercial photographer from Poland, but in the last ten years I've been based in New York and Beijing. In August 2017, I moved to Chicago. My work has been published in the Washington Post, The Guardian, and The China Daily. My documentary work was exhibited at the G20 Economic Summit at Hangzhou. I've been named one of the top photographers in NYC and Chicago by organizations like Thumbtack (Chicago, NYC) and Superr (NYC). And I'm a member of Professional Photographers of America.
I love taking great pictures and making my clients happy.
I've shot everything across the spectrum but there's no secret sauce. You go into each shoot with passion, knowledge, and experience and you make something great. People often ask me what my most important piece of camera equipment is and the answer's always the same: my planning notebook. The graceful execution of a well thought out plan trounces the fanciest lens and newest camera any day.
My work has been published in the Washington Post, The Guardian, and The China Daily. Thumbtack has rated me one of the 10 best photographers in both NYC and Chicago. My documentary work was exhibited at the G20 Economic Summit at Hangzhou. Awards: 2016 China State Foreign Experts Photography Contest (winner) 2015 China Culture Center Photography Contest (runner-up) 2014 Trey Ratcliff Beijing Photo Walk (winner) 2014 World Cup Photo Contest (winner) 2014 China Through Foreigners' Eyes (finalist)
I was the national debate champion in high school, but I'm really more of a listener.
