Please let me introduce myself… my name is Jaz Anderson, I am traveller, diver, climber, animal lover, sunset chaser, appreciator of such things as wine, beer and all delicious foods. But, most of all I am a photographer with well over a decade of diverse photography experience! However, I have been getting around the world, shooting for various different reason with freedom but without stability. These experiences have lead me to realise I am inspired by people and the world around us. And, I am highly motivated by my camera. I have trekked the mountains of Nepal to meet children in need and photograph their story. I have dived to the depths of the Great Barrier Reef to connect with my ocean through my lens. I have shoot for cafes, restaurants, clothing labs, families, graduations, maternity, festivals, circus performances, and I always believe nothing is every too small or too big. I have further my education through gaining a Bachelor in Creative Industries and attending workshops. But, this profession is forever about learning and experiencing which is why I love it so much.

More about Jasmine A....

What do you love about your job?

The people I get to meet, the diversity in what I do and the enjoy I see when happy clients are viewing my photographs. To get deeper about what I particularly love - life is full of all the moments that are fleeting and a photograph helps to distill that for us. I love being able to capture that in a beautiful and creative way to really get the most out of those moments.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

No matter what I am shooting I am always reminded of thing I heard Krystal Wright and many photographers say - the persoanlty of a photographer is so important. I empathise that bringing a camera into someones space can be intimating. So, my job is not only to deliver the required photographs but to put the client or who ever is involved at ease and we all enjoy the shoot and have a great (productive) time.
