Jason Langheine is an experienced professional photographer who has worked with many clients in Lancaster, York, and Harrisburg for over 7 years. After taking a photography class in high school out of curiosity, his education has been self-guided since then. He specializes in commercial product photography, having shot fulltime for a national home decor company. He also has extensive experience in portraiture and food photography, having been hired by companies such as Leisure Arts, Tutoni's, Rijuice, Three M Tool, etc
I love presenting subjects in an artful, flattering way...making them "bigger than life" or "their best selves." I'm intrigued by mixing skills from fine art still life with the messaging of marketing. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing the smile on my clients' faces when they see their product presented in an honest and artful way that captures their own motivations for creating the product in the first place.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many marketing and advertising shoots in the home decor industry over the last 6 years. Over time, I've learned visual cues to enhance and traps to avoid. From working in such a collaborative field, I've picked up tips to apply on smaller gigs where there isn't budget for a separate art director or stylist. In a pinch, I'm able to give an informed suggestion based on past experience with specialized professionals.
