I began photography as a hobby while I was a young model in 2005. I began first to shoot fashion because that was my world, from there I made bigger productions and moved through into beauty and product, then commercial. A few years in I dropped the modeling and focused solely on being behind the camera. I think my modeling experience gives me an added ability when it comes to working with models. I put myself through art school with photography and then took it up full-time. I have published my work in various magazines, worked on many lookbooks, catalogues, website images, social media, and more.
The photography is great but I really love the experience of working with people. Whether its a product, for commercial advertising, family portraits... I love walking into the lives of different people and being a part of what they are doing for a few hours/days. Each shoot I learn a little about the person's life. I feel that whether its a personal portrait for work or a book cover, or its a picture of your product, we come together making our things happen.
I am especially enjoying the people and projects that snappr clients bring.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done many kinds of shoots. Each are special in their own way.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I was recognized as the artist of the week at the Museum of Computer Art in 2011 and my art stayed on the front page for months. I don't submit to contests much.
