I love the poignancy of the frozen moment and the beauty of light. There are endless opportunities for creativity and there is always more to learn. I love that the photographers life means no two days are the same, I am always meeting and working with interesting individuals and am so honoured to be chosen to capture some of the most intimate and important moments of peoples lives.
I photograph mainly events, portraits, performance and interiors. For me the key to making each shoot special is find a point of connection and meaning whatever the project is. I do a lot of research and prep work which will be different depending on the job. I try to learn something new with each shoot I do, that keeps the work fresh and exciting for me and I think results in a better final product!
