Joi has been a photographer most of my life. In 2016 she decided to turn that passion into a business and haven't looked back.
Most of her training and education has been hands-on in the real world she has supplemented that with formal education provided by Norfolk State University, the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and Professional Photographers of America.
She is devoted to creating joy for her clients by helping them create marketable images and documenting events.
As my knowledge grew my passion for photography deepened. As I looked around me I notice how individuals and business struggled to create the photographs they needed. That prompted me to turn my passion into a business. I love it when I help people create show-stopping marketing for business or capture little details about their family they didn't think anyone else noticed.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have photographed many events. I do my best to make sure to capture the connections between the atteendees whether they're coworkers, strangers, or family. I am very skilled at getting myself into positions where I capture the perfect image without interrupting the flow of the event. The resulting images tell the story of the event and enable people who couldn't attend to experience it as if they were there.
