Currently I have been involved in automotive photography, mainly due to my job and position within the automotive community. This has given me access to photograph high-end autos which I find it both exciting and fun to photograph a vehicle in unique environment. It has also given me enter the world of commercial photography and marketing as well. However, my love of photography has helped me realize that it doesn't matter what the subject is as it is the ability of making the most of the opportunity and to be creative. That is what I most enjoy about what I do.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have completed a lot of commercial photo shoots lately, mainly automotive photography for print and digital ads. I find that its a lot of fun to do them outdoors and during golden hour at sunset, this is were I get to play with both ambient and artificial light (strobes) in order to make the image look amazing. The technique I have become skilled in consist of strobe the car and "stitching" photos within post processing so that every little detail is within the final image and it makes for an eye please photo. I do this for portrait photography as well, when a client is wanting that dramatic shot with the sun behind them; I use high speed sync and create a special look they desire, it is always fun to see the reaction from the client when they see what we made together.
