Luke Talmadge is a professional photographer based out of Richmond, VA who also works in New York City and Philadelphia. He has an Associate's degree in photography from Antonelli Institute. He's a self-motivated, dependable photographer. He's adaptable, works well under pressure, and has no problem stepping up as a leader when no one else does. He takes a client’s words and translates them into beautiful images for their website, social media, and advertisements. He's a good listener, a deep thinker, and a perfectionist. He makes images that push society forward.
I’ve always been drawn to creating things and helping people. Photography is a mix of these two aspirations. I enjoy combining my technical skills and creative vision to create images that allow people to remember an event and have beautiful pictures of it to show. I also enjoy making images that promote a business's products, place of business, and the people who work for them.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done ad campaigns for a bow tie company and for a clothing brand. I make them special by meeting with owners and creative directors and figuring out the message and mood the company is trying to achieve with the images of the products. I have also done online store images for a full merchandise line where the images had to flow and look similarly lit, shot, and edited. I love to capture the personality of who I'm shooting when I shoot family events or live concerts.
