Matt Zugale has been photographing people, places, and things since his teens. That inspired him to study photography at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He has experience in many types of commercial photography but specializes in engaging portraits and detailed still-lifes.
As a photographer, I love the challenge of telling my clients story in my own personal way. It's always fun to collaborate and create compelling images. There's nothing better than having a happy client.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I approach all shoots as if they are special. Here's one example. While photographing a personal injury law firm in Philadelphia, I noticed beautiful, warm, window light beaming in to their offices. In their portraits, we were able to capture the familial warmth of their approach by utilizing this light. On another recent shoot, I photographed glass blower. What made this so special was the angle that I hunted for, captured the action, the heat of the fire and the expressiveness in the artists face while engaged in his work.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
The greatest recognition I've had in the photography business, is my repeat clients.
