Mo Alcaraz is an experienced professional photographer based out of the Bay Area, specializing in lifestyle, travel, and product photography. His most recent notable work has been at Lyft as a photographer and content producer, building one of the fastest growing brands in the US, and at Postmates as a marketing photographer. He also has experience in real estate, interior, and architectural photography.
The two most fulfilling aspects of photography for me are connecting with the people in front of the camera, and the creative approach to capturing a vision. A lot of times these two end goals intertwine, and it is in working together with other people with a common goal that is most fulfilling.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have shot many projects for tech companies, especially as part of the brands and marketing teams at Lyft and Postmates. I have produced lifestyle shoots that show how that particular app or service benefits a person’s everyday life. I try to create a whole picture, one in which the location, background, props, and styling all have something important to add to the message being crafted. It’s very much all in the details, and potential customers will sense it.
