Orlando, is a professional wedding & portrait photographer based out of Central Florida. He shoots approximately 40 weddings a year throughout the state of Ohio as well as destinations. When Orlando is not shooting weddings, he shoots portraits, head shots, boudoir and does some commercial photography. His passion is portraiture, journalism and creating expressive imagery beyond any single genre of photography. He has an obsession with light as well as shadow, whether it is with creative lighting or natural light.
Not every client that I have worked with is a model. For this reason, there is a level of gratification that I receive when I take the time to carefully craft the perfect portrait of that person. Finding what defines a person, and how they best present themselves. Shaping the light that falls on the person, and creating a stunning perspective that celebrates their beauty and presence. Once I carefully post process and retouch their portrait, I love the look of their faces when they see how flattering they look. It gives them a moment to love themselves, and that can go a long way for that person.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
In both shooting weddings and portrait sessions, I like to get to know people the best I can for the limited time I have and feel who they are. This allows me to create portraits that speak about that person. To me a portrait is not just about the person I am shooting. It is about the person and myself, and how we engaged and interacted at that given point of frozen time.
