My education has come from photography greats like Annie Leibovitz, Peter Hurley, and Joe Mcnally, replicating their techniques while infusing it with my own unqiue style.

What do you love about your job?

It's the people that make my job great. Because each person/couple/family is unique, the images that are created are unique as well. I love the goal and challenge of creating images that reflect the personalities and complexities that each person can bring.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I love working with families, especially a family that has never had family portraits before. It's so much fun to guide them through process and watch reactions as they see their images for the first time. Beyond the money, this makes it worth it. Seeing smiles on parents faces as they see their images of their kids that they will cherish forever. This never get's old. My favorite shoot has been working with the US Marine Corps and shooting family portraits of marines in pre-deployment. Some of my favorite images have come from this shoot.
