I fell into photography 4 years ago as I was published while living abroad in Indonesia. I had 'semi-retired' after selling my ownership in a my family's restaurant.I got my start shooting our menu items and staff there. Including skills sets with staff and clients, styling food and people. I think because of my background in a high traffic/profile resatraunt dealing with dynamic public relations my photography career has had a faster arc than usual. I do come from a creative background and have worked rewriting scripts. New endeavors do not make me nervous and I take it as a personal growth method when I can put new clients or people at ease......the karma helps too
New experiences, people and concepts each time. I thrive on thinking around corners or problems.Unexpectedly, I love that I still work with a majority of my clients and/or have continued relationships with them. I missed that about the restaurant and it gives me a sense of community when I shoot repeatedly for clients and their passions/businesses
I've shot everything, seriously. As evidenced in my portfolio from, swimsuit to editorial to product to portraiture to boudoir to full scale architecture to food to behind the scenes and a a lot of it, on and on....
I have about 20 awards from pro photographer/judges on Viewbug.com
I'm a bit of an auto-didact with everything I aspire to learn.
