Rachel is a photographer, creator, avid adventurer and above all - a storyteller. Currently you'll find her in New York embracing what it means to be a modern renaissance woman, and totally loving it.
Her fascination has always been with exploring authentic moments. This curiosity has manifested itself in to her creative career where she considers herself above all things, a truth-seeker. She truly believes the best images are the ones where we are free to be ourselves. On a shoot with her, expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere where you chat and get to know each other, creating beautiful photos along the way.
She LOVES natural light, and is a sunrise/sunset chaser. She also likes simplicity, allowing her clients to be the ones who shine. Her goal is to capture images that truly reflect your personality and uniqueness.
I love telling stories through photographs. I love the idea of having my work last through generations of families. I get to make their most memorable moments last a lifetime, and I really think that is something that makes being a photographer very special. We get to be part of families even if for just a moment. We get to capture pure happiness and love from people.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many different shoots. Family shoots, engagements, weddings, baby showers, events, and many more. I try to connect with my clients. If there are children I make them laugh; If they are just adults I chat with them and get to know them. I find that connection helps the client be more comfortable in front of the camera.
