Rashmi Mohotti is an enthusiastic and motivated photographer, working hard to give clients the very best experience possible. She's photographed events of different kinds - from public talks to parties, from outdoor Oktoberfest events to indoor university society balls. As a portrait photographer, she continually strives to take photos that emphasise the model's best features, no matter who they may be.
I love being a part of peoples' happiest moments. After you've gone out with your friends and had a great time at a party, it's wonderful to be able to look back on those and see those memories in crisp, perfect detail. It always makes me smile to take and deliver photos that capture joy. The same happens with portraits- both myself and the models always end up having a great time, and the photos are documentation of that.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
For parties, I try and create a sense of dynamicism- capturing movement, to try and capture the atmosphere of what it felt like to be in that space, is something I always aim for. In my portraits, I strive to represent the model in the best light, while creating synergy between them and the environment. Regardless of the situation, I always make sure to present the subject in the best light possible, both literally and figuratively!
