Photography is not simply an art or a science, but a blending of both. - Rigo
Real Estate & Architectural Photographer Rigoberto Perdomo, more commonly known as "Rigo" (Ree-Go) brings a decade worth of experience, and formal training in Commercial Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology; Rigo has published works for customers such as Groupon, The New York Times, and Nikon USA.
The challenge! Photography is something that is very subjective, there is never a right or wrong way to do something, and therefore it is a field that gives complete freedom to invent, create, and problem solve in new and unique ways. Every photograpy session or shoot is exactly that, a series of questions, and problems that need to be solved, from the most basic exposure, balancing the light around different areas of a scene to how to frame an image to move a foreground element into the obscurity.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
In regards to what types of shoots, I have probably shot it all, from baseball games to baby showers, to rock concerts to architecture. One thing I always do to make a shoot special is the plan it out and get all of the detail out of the way first, before arrival at the scene/location. So there are never any questions, I keep it upbeat and positive and eliminate anything that could be stressful.
