More about Roxanne T....

What do you love about your job?

I love seeing how happy people are when they see their final images. Some people think they "don't photograph well" - not true! There is a way to photograph everyone well and I love discovering how to put everyone's best face forward. I love meeting new people and going places I never would have gone otherwise.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

When I'm booked for a natural light boudoir shoot I create a comfortable environment so the woman I'm working with will feel comfortable and more at ease- I like to put on some music, put some film in my camera and bring a bottle of wine. For any kind of portrait session think it's important to be able to connect with the client to get the most natural and beautiful shots. I always ask and listen closely to what they might have in mind. I also think I'm pretty approachable, so that helps!

A fun fact about this photographer

I was born in Hawaii, grew up in Asheville NC and drove out to LA with my dog Finn 3 years ago. I love camping, fashion and gelato. I've hitchhiked in Chile and once spent several weeks in an Inupiaq village above the Arctic Circle in the middle of winter.
