Sal Sued is a Photographer and Filmmaker, whose work focuses on the built environment and its relationship with the people and places around it. Being out in the mountains amongst the silence is soothing and inspiring. It’s where I feel most at home. It’s also why I aim to combine the great outdoors in so much of my photography and why I truly believe that no adventure is too far and no idea is too big. I’m up for it all.

More about Salvador S....

What do you love about your job?

Everything has a beautiful spot, a beautiful shape. One of my favorite jobs was for a bicycle company. They gave me a new bike to shoot but didn’t tell me what the selling points of it are. The shots were very abstract, unconventional, but they loved it for that reason. It’s rare that someone gives you something and says, “Go do whatever you want to do, and we’ll use it.” The images did something different, and they were both criticized and complimented for that, but they were very successful. You can pull anything out that you want, if you’re not told how to look at it.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I've shot everything from portraits, products, automotive, and real estate, to baptisms, engagements and weddings. Honestly, what makes every job special to me are the clients and team(s) I get to work with. Many of which become friends and/or returning clients. Having the ability to deliver quality work, and efficiently work with others is what I pride myself on.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

None, yet.

A fun fact about this photographer

Eternally Positive.
I like cars.
I like bikes.
And I prefer to diagonally cut sandwiches to maximize the bread-to-crust ratio.
