Being able to bring a natural narrative to a project is always really challenging and rewarding. Storytelling happens through more than snapping a pretty picture, and being involved in a project that lets me represent that story is something special.
My photojournalism background has given me the ability to be unobtrusive in documenting people's stories. So even when I'm working on a stylized magazine shoot, getting the in-between moments and the small things others might not notice is a lot of fun.
My mom framed a picture I took in Bosnia and put it on her wall, so that was neat.
I'm a conservation nerd and backpacking junkie. I try and get into nature as much as possible. I'm also overly enthusiastic about public transportation and travel. I speak a little Shoshone left over from my linguistics days.
