Sasha Przybyla is an experienced photographer serving the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. She shoots digital and film and has been traveling the world taking photos of beautiful places and people for the past 10 years. She specializes in portrait photography, engagements and intimate weddings, family and maternity photos. Her style is inspired by her love for film: it's less about perfection and more about capturing genuine moments artfully and spontaneously. She loves taking advantage of the beautiful nature around the Bay Area and takes any opportunity to play with light and perspective to create unique photos that are still natural.
I love being able to touch peoples lives through photography while also being able to express myself creatively in the process. I feel really honored to be invited to be part of some very special moments in peoples lives so that I would be able to capture their stories. It's really rewarding when people tell me they love the photos and the whole experience of the photo shoot. Having a connection with interesting and kind people through photography is one of the more surprising benefits of this job.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a lot of family sessions, maternity photos, pets, couples and individual portraits. In a lot of the family sessions with kids or pets, I try to embrace the chaos and capture the all the ranges of emotions and movements that comes with energetic little ones. Instead of trying to make them pose to stay still, I try to highlight their movements documentary-style. I do some light coaching but try to keep the posing to the minimum and keep the session light and fun. I love how photos with movement always feel so full of joy and life.

A fun fact about this photographer
I'm fluent in three languages but the one people don't expect is Spanish and I love to bring out all the Spanish slang when I'm in Mexico just to see peoples reactions.
