More about Steve G....

What do you love about your job?

I love the everyday challenges that arise and solving those issues, while also letting my creativity be a part of the process. When clients I have worked with frequently trust me to deliver great images and I can best represent their clients, that makes my day.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have photographed everything from Ice-fishing houses, all the way up to 3 million dollar residential property.
I have developed a style and technique to best represent whatever I am shooting, and I feel the same enjoyment whether I am photographing a small empty townhouse or that 3 million dollar home. I also truly enjoy the editing side of this business as well as being behind the camera, I think it gives me an edge; I can see pitfalls and lighting situations that may be an issue while editing, so I use that skill to my advantage when shooting.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

1st Place award from the MN Newspaper Association for a cover photo in the Shakopee Valley News in 2001

A fun fact about this photographer

I love kayaking...so I am always looking for a new adventure on a new stretch of water, it's a fantastic way to see the landscape from a different perspective.
