Tina began her photography career 20 years ago. She worked and trained with a successful and well known Auckland photographer learning the art of studio portraiture and wedding photography. She has extensive experience in photographing weddings and portraiture and is also the creator and founder of Positive Negatives Photography, a highly successful national portrait company. Photography is Tinas full-time passion and she has had the opportunity to work in many different genres during her career. Her longest shoot was a 3 year assignment which involved traveling New Zealand with a film crew shooting portraits of our oldest Maori men and women. Tina also loves to shoot commercial projects including real estate and food and website imagery.
I love everything about my work - in fact I can't really call it work, I call it a vocational vacation. I approach each project with curiosity and care, looking forward to the challenge of transforming thoughts and ideas into reality. Being a key part of a wedding couples big day is huge and a real buzz. I love the response when my wedding couples receive their photos. I treat all my assignments as I would a wedding so when I'm on a marketing team shooting for a website advertising project or a corporate function, or a publicity shoot or real estate shoot, I'm 100% focused on delivering high quality images and service.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have shot many different types of photography projects and to me each and every assignment is important. I aim to do my best to deliver the best. I make each job special by listening carefully to what my clients vision is, interpreting that and then capturing and producing beautiful images.
