Wayne started shooting when he got a DSLR for Christmas in high school. Back in those days it was actual film, and he even learned to develop his own in the high school dark room. Wayne kept up his passion for photography throughout his career as a Naval Officer, and as that came to a close, dove back into photography with a passion. He was an apprentice with the Arcanum Magical Academy for Artistic Mastery, but is mostly self taught. He primarily shoots circus, dance and fire performers as well as yogis and fitness athletes but is also an accomplished event and portrait shooter.

I love capturing the essence of a person, a moment, a performance. I love showing an artist at work, whether that artist is an aerialist, a fire dancer, a yogi, or mother nature.
In addition to shooting live events, I do studio and location portrait work. Each shoot is unique and I like to make it a fun collaboration between photographer and subject, because the more we are both enjoying ourselves the better the images will be in the end. I am happy to say that on many occasions my subjects and I wind up becoming friends and staying in touch and working together many times.
I have published one photography book, How to shoot your child's show like a pro, available on amazon and create space.
I also run a flying trapeze school.
