Will has worked with some of the most influential businesses in Seattle in many different industries creating content for publications and social media. These photos have opened up opportunities for these businesses to get published in many online and print publications around the world including GQ, Esquire, and BeerAdvocate. He has helped these businesses share a concise story and educate their guests/customers about their products and attract attention from all around the world.
I love seeing the connection between a business and their customers. Creating a product is hard enough already, and when a customer is confused about the product it doesn't do anything for my client. So I help create content that helps bridge that gap, to help educate the customer beyond just the product, but also about the industry of the product.
When photographing inside a business, I specifically try to create content that is true to the customer's experience. I've heard so many stories about food photography being staged, and so have their customers, so I wanted to make sure that the experience is genuine. The best part about this is having multiple plates of food to eat after the photo shoot. I would occasionally use a long lens to capture detail shots of actual customers eating the food without disturbing the customers.
I haven't submitted any photographs for any awards or honors and have been recognized for my work specifically by any reputable sources.
I grew up in love with computers so naturally, I went to school for software engineering but eventually dropped out. I started playing around with video during this time, but never had a still camera until I bought my first camera three years later.
